This collaboration aims to bring together a wider audience for a more engaging and enriching session with Dr. Henry Chan on the same topic.

Joint and back pain are common conditions that can significantly affect our daily lives and overall well-being. In this informative session, Dr. Henry Chan, Medical Director & Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon from Singapore, will share expert insights into the causes of these conditions, warning signs that should not be ignored, as well as practical advice on prevention, management, and available treatment options.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain a better understanding of your health and learn proactive ways to improve mobility and quality of life.

[Recap] Annual General Meeting & Member Reconnect 2025

The Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM) held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 5 September 2025 (Friday) at Pan Pacific Yangon. It was a wonderful opportunity to look back at what our Executive Committee has achieved over the past year (September 2024 – August 2025) and to share our plans and activities for the year ahead.
A big thank you to all our members who joined us at the AGM, and to our community of members, partners, and friends for your continued support of SAM and our activities in Myanmar.

The Annual General Meeting & Member Reconnect 2025 will be held on 5 September 2025 at Pan Pacific Yangon. This event will showcase the key activities, earthquake relief efforts and milestones achieved since our last AGM in August 2024, and provide a valuable opportunity to reconnect with current members and welcome back former members who have been strong supporters of the association in its earlier years.
The event will be held only in person, and we will share updates on the agenda next week. A variety of Singaporean dishes will be provided for dinner.

A fun-filled evening that combines two great events: a Billiards & Darts Competition and a Halloween Party will be organised under the Inter-Chamber Games 2024! Whether you’re a pool shark or just love a good costume party or to form new friendships, this is the perfect chance to join in the fun, enjoy some friendly competition, and celebrate Halloween in style as well as networking with members from the participating chambers.
