The Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM) would like to inform you that the Health Talk with Dr. Henry Chan, originally scheduled for 24 May 2026, will now be held as a joint event in collaboration with EFI Myanmar on 24 May 2026, instead of as a standalone SAM event.
This collaboration aims to bring together a wider audience for a more engaging and enriching session with Dr. Henry Chan on the same topic.

Joint and back pain are common conditions that can significantly affect our daily lives and overall well-being. In this informative session, Dr. Henry Chan, Medical Director & Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon from Singapore, will share expert insights into the causes of these conditions, warning signs that should not be ignored, as well as practical advice on prevention, management, and available treatment options.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain a better understanding of your health and learn proactive ways to improve mobility and quality of life.

SG60: SINGAPORE REIMAGINED – A Night to Remember
We are pleased to share highlights from our recent participation in the MOU Signing Ceremony & Members’ Networking Event with MYANWEN (Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network) on 11 December 2025.
This joint initiative marks an important step in advancing collaboration and supporting women-led business growth in Myanmar.
The event brought together representatives from:
- British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar (BCCM)
- French Myanmar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FMCCI)
- Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MHKCCI)
- Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber (MMBC)
- Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM)
During the ceremony, all chambers formally signed an MOU with MYANWEN, reaffirming our shared commitment to building stronger networks, fostering collaboration, and creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs nationwide.
The evening featured remarks from chamber leaders, the official signing, and engaging networking activities hosted by MYANWEN at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake.
We extend our sincere appreciation to MYANWEN for leading this initiative and to all attendees who were with us.
We look forward to continued cooperation and future activities that support meaningful progress within Myanmar’s business community.
[Recap] Annual General Meeting & Member Reconnect 2025
The Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM) held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 5 September 2025 (Friday) at Pan Pacific Yangon. It was a wonderful opportunity to look back at what our Executive Committee has achieved over the past year (September 2024 – August 2025) and to share our plans and activities for the year ahead.
A big thank you to all our members who joined us at the AGM, and to our community of members, partners, and friends for your continued support of SAM and our activities in Myanmar.

The Annual General Meeting & Member Reconnect 2025 will be held on 5 September 2025 at Pan Pacific Yangon. This event will showcase the key activities, earthquake relief efforts and milestones achieved since our last AGM in August 2024, and provide a valuable opportunity to reconnect with current members and welcome back former members who have been strong supporters of the association in its earlier years.
The event will be held only in person, and we will share updates on the agenda next week. A variety of Singaporean dishes will be provided for dinner.

Inter-Chamber Games 2024 – Billiards & Darts Competition & Halloween Party!

A fun-filled evening that combines two great events: a Billiards & Darts Competition and a Halloween Party will be organised under the Inter-Chamber Games 2024! Whether you’re a pool shark or just love a good costume party or to form new friendships, this is the perfect chance to join in the fun, enjoy some friendly competition, and celebrate Halloween in style as well as networking with members from the participating chambers.

- Theme: Halloween (Costumes Encouraged!)
- Ticket Fees: MMK 40,000 inclusive of food and drinks (Additional purchase to be paid by the guests)

- Billiards Tournament: 2 Representatives from each chamber will be allowed and advance registration is needed. Entry will be free for 2 representatives and click here to download Rules & Regulations.
- Darts Tournament: Open to all attendees (Limited to first 20 interested participants, registration to be made on the event day)
- Halloween Costume Competition: Two winners will be awarded for Best in Costume – One Male and One Female
