MOU Signing Ceremony with Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA)

On 7 March 2026, the Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM), together with the Indian Myanmar Chamber of Commerce (IMCC), the Myanmar–Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MHKCCI), and the Malaysia–Myanmar Business Chamber (MMBC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA).

This milestone reflects our shared commitment to strengthening collaboration and supporting the growth and development of young entrepreneurs in Myanmar.

Executive Committee members and members of the participating chambers and associations, along with invited guests and business professionals, attended the event. Following the signing ceremony, participants enjoyed a networking session that fostered new connections and friendships within the business community.

𝐌𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network

We are pleased to share highlights from our recent participation in the MOU Signing Ceremony & Members’ Networking Event with MYANWEN (Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network) on 11 December 2025.
This joint initiative marks an important step in advancing collaboration and supporting women-led business growth in Myanmar.
The event brought together representatives from:

  • French Myanmar Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FMCCI)
  • Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MHKCCI)
  • Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber (MMBC)

During the ceremony, all chambers formally signed an MOU with MYANWEN, reaffirming our shared commitment to building stronger networks, fostering collaboration, and creating opportunities for women entrepreneurs nationwide.
The evening featured remarks from chamber leaders, the official signing, and engaging networking activities hosted by MYANWEN at Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake.
We extend our sincere appreciation to MYANWEN for leading this initiative and to all attendees who were with us.
We look forward to continued cooperation and future activities that support meaningful progress within Myanmar’s business community.

[Recap] Annual General Meeting & Member Reconnect 2025

The Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM) held our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 5 September 2025 (Friday) at Pan Pacific Yangon. It was a wonderful opportunity to look back at what our Executive Committee has achieved over the past year (September 2024 – August 2025) and to share our plans and activities for the year ahead.

A big thank you to all our members who joined us at the AGM, and to our community of members, partners, and friends for your continued support of SAM and our activities in Myanmar.

Annual General Meeting & Member Reconnect 2025

The Annual General Meeting & Member Reconnect 2025 will be held on 5 September 2025 at Pan Pacific Yangon. This event will showcase the key activities, earthquake relief efforts and milestones achieved since our last AGM in August 2024, and provide a valuable opportunity to reconnect with current members and welcome back former members who have been strong supporters of the association in its earlier years.
