Inter Chamber Games 2023 – Badminton Tournament On 11 Nov 2023
On 11 November 2023, a Badminton Tournament, organised by the Malaysian Association of Myanmar (MAM), as part of Inter Chamber Games 2023, was held at the Myanmar Badminton Federation courts.
Teams from Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM), the Association of Indonesia Myanmar (AIM), Indian Association of Myanmar (iAM), Malaysia Association of Myanmar (MAM), Myanmar Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce (MTCC), Pilipinas.MM, Myanmar and Thai Business Association Myanmar (TBAM) competed in 1 Singles and 4 Doubles matches during the tournament in a Round Robin format in 2 groups.
Students from Singapore International School: RVi Academy Yangon, a corporate member of SAM, represented SAM to participate in the games and ultimately, came in 3rd in Group B.

SAM’s 2nd Batch of Bicycle Donation: Changing Lives with Bicycles
On 4 November 2023, Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM), with the support of our friends and corporate sponsors, donated 200 bicycles, and backpacks with school stationery to the students of the Myanmar Network of Community Colleges (MNCC).
This is the 2nd Batch of SAM’s Bicycle Donation Program, ‘Changing Lives with Bicycles’, which was held in Dala Township, Yangon Region.
The aim of this project is to give a measure of relief to the students who travel long distances by foot to and from school.
Additionally, SAM provided monetary donations of MMK 800,000 to four Dala-based organisations in appreciation of their selfless service to the community: St. Michael Funeral Service, iCARE Disability Center, Calvary Home (Orphanage) and St Sebastian Church.

Joint Chamber Networking Event – SAM, MHKCCI, AIM, MMBC, TBAM
On 26 October 2023, The Joint Chamber Networking Event was co-organised by Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM), together with the main-organiser, the Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MHKCCI), and other co-organisers, Thai Business Association of Myanmar (TBAM), Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber (MMBC), and Association of Indonesia Myanmar (AIM) at the Central.

On 25 October 2023, Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM), together with the Association of Indonesia Myanmar (AIM), the Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MHKCCI), the Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber (MMBC) and Thai Business Association Myanmar (TBAM) organised a Sharing Session – AI for Everyone and Joint-Chamber Networking Event at Novotel Yangon Max.
During the event, Mr Manish Gupta, a Master Trainer and Coach who has trained more than a thousand people in similar subjects, shared the following topics through an interactive session:
– Discover how AI can work for everyone, especially for non-technology people
– Enhance your work effectiveness and personal life with AI
Ma Cho Mar Nwe, Head of the Sales Department, MAI, SAM’s Strategic Partner, also shared the latest information about its products and services with the attendees.
