SAM SPORTS ACTIVITY (7 Oct 2023): SAM Bowlers’ Practice for Inter-Chamber Games 2023 Bowling Tournament
Dear SAM Members,
SAM and seven other ASIAN chambers or associations will be organizing the Inter-Chamber Games 2023 – Bowling Tournament. As such, SAM will be organizing the SAM Bowlers’ Practice on 7 October 2023, Saturday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rock & Bowl.

Ticket Fee: FOC for SAM Members Only
By joining this practice, you also agree to participate in the Inter-Chamber Games 2023 – Bowling Tournament on 15 October 2023 (Sunday), from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Registration starts at 9 a.m.).
During the bowling tournament, only a team of 7 bowlers (Maximum 10 players) from all eight chambers or associations will participate and a series of two games will be played by each team (substitutions can be made for the second game).

On 25 August 2023, our SAM members and friends joined the British Chamber Joint Chamber Networking with ASEAN Chambers at My Hill – PHS.
The participating chambers were Singapore Association of Myanmar – SAM, British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar, Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, TBAM – Thai Business Association of Myanmar, the Myanmar-Malaysia Business Chamber (MMBC), and the Association of Indonesia Myanmar (AIM).
The event was fully-packed and we hope our members and friends have made connections and expanded their professional networks through this exciting evening.

On 22 September 2023, the exclusive joint-chamber networking event was held at The Corriander Leaf Restaurant, Yangon and members from the Singapore Association of Myanmar – SAM, India-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce(IMCC), British Chamber of Commerce Myanmar(BritCham), CCI France Myanmar(FMCCI), EuroCham Myanmar (EuroCham), Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry ,Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Myanmar (JCCM), Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber(MMBC) and TBAM – Thai Business Association of Myanmar joined the event.
We hope that this networking event has provided a platform for meaningful conversations, valuable insights, and the potential for new collaborations.
[Images] Mid-Autumn Festival Joint Chambers Networking Event
On 21 September 2023, our SAM Members joined the “Mid-Autumn Festival Joint Chambers Networking Event”, which is a collaborative effort of the Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MHKCCI) with the Singapore Association of Myanmar – SAM (SAM), the TBAM – Thai Business Association of Myanmar, the Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber (MMBC), and the Association of Indonesia Myanmar (AIM).
As we were celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival, mooncakes were served to all the attendees and this special event was organized with the aim to enhance community spirit, facilitate impactful collaborations, and cultivate valuable business relationships among our members through this special event.

Annual General Meeting on 26 August 2022
Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM) conducted our virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 26 August 2022 (Friday) to update our members on what the outgoing executive committee had accomplished during its term and to elect the new executive committee for 2022-2024.
Firstly, we would like to thank our SAM Patron, Her Excellency, Ms Vanessa Chan, Singapore Ambassador to Myanmar, for her encouraging address and wishes to all SAM members.
Next, we would like to thank the 99 SAM members who joined our virtual AGM, together with the members who were unable to attend but have sent in their proxy votes.
