SAM AGM 2024 & Election of Exco 2024-2026

On 21 August 2024, Singapore Association of Myanmar (SAM) conducted the hybrid Annual General Meeting (AGM) to update our members on what the outgoing executive committee had accomplished during its term and to elect the new executive committee for 2022-2024.
 
We would like to thank the 59 SAM members who joined our AGM in person at Sedona Hotel Yangon and via Zoom and voted in the new executive committee, together with 12 SAM members who were unable to attend but have sent in their proxy votes.

2nd Intra-Chambers Networking Event June 2024

On 28 June 2024, the 2nd Intra-Chambers Networking Event of 2024 took place at the Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel
 
This event was mainly-organized by CCI France Myanmar, in collaboration with various international chambers of commerce, AustCham Myanmar, BritCham Myanmar, EuroCham Myanmar, India-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce, Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Malaysia-Myanmar Business Chamber, Singapore Association of Myanmar – SAM, the Thai Business Association of Myanmar, and the Association of Indonesian in Myanmar.

The panel discussion was moderated by May Myat Mon Win, General Manager of Chatrium Hotel Royal Lake Yangon. The World Bank Myanmar Economic Monitor Update June 2024
