Step-in Step-up
Vocational Training
STEP-IN STEP-UP enables vulnerable people to become valuable employees.
Step-in Step-up (SISU) is a non-profit organization based in Myanmar that empowers local youth with vocational skills and then helps them to find jobs. The current environment in Myanmar has increased the challenges faced by underprivileged youth to find jobs and contribute to their family’s income. SISU’s vocational training programs aim to address these challenges. Established in 2016, SISU is a grassroots Myanmar NGO which invests in the workforce of tomorrow by providing innovative livelihood skills-tailored training. The flagship training Academy provides full time course options for youths aged 17 and above.
All trainees receive a monthly allowance to supplement their family income, a daily nutritious
lunch, medical and eye check-ups and unforms.
