The Inter-Chambers Games 2023 – Bowling Tournament on 15 October 2023

The Inter-Chambers Games 2023 – Bowling Tournament held at the Rock & Bowl on 15 October was organised by Singapore Association of Myanmar in collaboration with seven other Asian Chambers and Associations – Association of Indonesia Myanmar (AIM), Indian Association of Myanmar (iAM), Malaysia Association of Myanmar (MAM), Myanmar Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce (MTCC), Pilipinas.MM, Representatives from Myanmar and Thai Business Association Myanmar (TBAM).

Thank you to our SAM members and the members from the other chambers for participating in this tournament.

We would like to congratulate all the winners of the bowling tournament!

SAM and seven other ASIAN chambers or associations will be organizing the Inter-Chamber Games 2023 – Bowling Tournament. As such, SAM will be organizing the SAM Bowlers’ Practice on 7 October 2023, Saturday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rock & Bowl.

By joining this practice, you also agree to participate in the Inter-Chamber Games 2023 – Bowling Tournament on 15 October 2023 (Sunday), from 9.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Registration starts at 9 a.m.).

During the bowling tournament, only a team of 7 bowlers (Maximum 10 players) from all eight chambers or associations will participate and a series of two games will be played by each team (substitutions can be made for the second game).

Dear SAM Members,

SAM and seven other ASIAN chambers or associations are planning to organize the Inter-Chambers Bowling Tournament. As such, SAM will be organizing the SAM Bowlers Selection on 24 September 2023, Sunday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rock & Bowl to select the best bowlers to form the SAM Bowling team.

If you are selected for the SAM Bowling team, you will be able to participate in the Inter-Chambers Bowling Tournament on 15 October 2023 (Sunday) [More details will be shared later]. During the bowling tournament, only a team of 7 bowlers (Maximum 10 players) from all eight chambers or associations will participate and a series of two games will be played by each team (substitutions can be made for the second game).

Weekly SAM-MAM Badminton Sessions in July 2023

SAM, together with MAM – Malaysian Association of Myanmar are organizing weekly SAM-MAM Badminton Sessions every Saturday from July 2023 to 31 August 2023 at The Zawana – Badminton And Sport Arena.

Joint-Chambers Fun Bowling & Networking Session

We are very proud to announce that SAM, together with the co-organising chambers – Association of Indonesia Myanmar (AIM), Malaysian-Myanmar Business Chamber (MMBC), Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MHKCCI) and TBAM – Thai Business Association of Myanmar, organized the first bowling event “Joint-Chambers Fun Bowling & Networking Session” successfully, on 18 June 2023 at Rock & Bowl.

We were amazed at how much interest the members from the various chambers had in our bowling event, where a total of 20 teams (80 bowlers), participated in the competition and a total of 120 pax were in attendance to cheer on the bowlers and to create new connections with one other.

It was the first bowling event in the country with participants from members of different chambers and we believe that unforgettable memories were forged.

We appreciate the participation of our members and friends at the competition and the networking session and we congratulate the winners of the competition as follows:

Joint Chambers Sports Tournaments on 5th March 2023

On 5 March 2023, SAM, the Myanmar Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MHKCCI), Thai Business Association Myanmar (TBAM), Malaysian Business Chamber (MMBC), and Association of Indonesia Myanmar (AIM) co-organised the exciting and fun-filled Joint Chambers Sports Tournament, sponsored by AIA.

Chamber members and their family members as well as the colleauges participated in several exciting sport events, including Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, Zumba, and Swimming.
