SAM’s COVID-19 RESPONSE INITIATIVES: SAM’s COVID-19 Vaccination Program
Despite the difficulties faced in the country, SAM has facilitated around 600 people from both local and foreign communities in Myanmar to receive their vaccinations at MCCOC Vaccination Center, Pun Hlaing Hospital’s Vaccination Centre and OSC Hospital in September 2021 and January 2022.
Batch 1: MCCOC Vaccination Centre from 8 to 10 Sep 2021
Batch 2: Pun Hlaing Hospital from 9 to 11 Sep 2021
Batch 3: OSC Hospital, Pun Hlaing Hospital from 22 Oct to Dec 2021
Batch 4: Pun Hlaing Hospital on 26 Jan 2022
SAM will continue to serve the communities in Myanmar.
SAM COVID-19 RESPONSE – Lunch Box Donation at Yangon Circular Train Stations “Food From the Heart – ဝေမျှ @ ရထား”
The SAM Lunch Box Donation @ Yangon Circular Train Stations Project aims to provide food in the form of lunch boxes to feed the hungry, destitute and poor living around the Yangon circular train stops, with the hope that it may somehow ease their burden and help change their lives for a better tomorrow.
Another objective is also to help local restaurants to generate some revenue during these difficult times.
This is an on-going initiative and we aim to donate a total of 5000 lunch boxes to the needy.
The 1st lunch box donation took place at Okkalapa Train Station on 16 Oct 2021. 500 lunch boxes were prepared by My Choice Restaurant.
The 2nd lunch box donation took place at Da Nyin Gone Train Station on 30 Oct 2021. 1000 lunch boxes were prepared by Yakun Restaurant.
The 3rd Lunch box donation took place at Kyee Myin Dine Train Station on 13 Nov 2021. 1000 lunch boxes were prepared by Savory Kitchen Yangon.
The 4th lunch box donation took place at Thingangyun Train Station on 27 Nov 2021. 1000 lunch boxes were prepared by EASY Specialty Coffee and My Choice Restaurant.
The 5th lunch box donation took place at Bauktaw Train Station on 11 Dec 2021. 1000 lunch boxes were prepared by My Kitchen.
On Saturday 18 December 2021, SAM donated 1,000 lunchboxes at Yaegu Train Station as our sixth donation initiative for this lunch donation project. For this donation, 1000 lunch boxes were prepared by The Corriander Leaf Yangon .
As of 31 December 2021, SAM has donated a total of 5500 lunch boxes as part of our “Food From the Heart – ဝေမျှ @ ရထား Donation Campaign”, which has exceeded our first initial target of 5,000 lunch boxes.
